The Landscapers

The Landscapers ist ein Singer-Songwriter-Duo, bestehend aus Lisa H. (Gesang) und Simon M.
(Gitarre, Ukulele, Piano, Gesang). Der Bandname ist Programm, denn The Landscapers bedeutet,
dass es den beiden möglich ist, verschiedene musikalische Landschaften zu gestalten, „unserer
Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen“, wie das Duo bescheinigt. Ihre Kreativität läuft durch
Landschaften und ein musikalisches Abenteuer beginnt dort, wo Grenzen in Vergessenheit geraten.
Die Auslotung beginnt bereits beim Songwriting, nennt es Acoustic-Folk-Pop, nennt es Indie-Folk.
Alles beim Schreiben ist improvisiert, bis eine Form gefunden wird für das Improvisierte, bis die
Zeit still steht, denn bei guten Songs steht die Zeit still. Das Publikum soll glücklich sein mit dem
großen Ganzen der englischsprachigen Liedtexte von The Landscapers, mit der Rhythmik und der
Schönheit eines Wortes. Das Repertoire des Duos umfasst aktuell 25 Songs. 90 Minuten, die
emotional berühren und Landschaften bewegen.
