Small Souki & The Big Trouble Band are a Vienna-based collective that wander in the realms of grunge, psychedelic, and experimental rock music. The rhythmic melodies melted by the fuzz of the guitar, keys, and the violin, fitting the expression of "heroine music" contemplating the political changes of our times, harmonize with the lyrical screams and together introduce the vibe of despair in utopian beats. Their single "Nature" followed by their first EP album "We lost the Sky - Part I" was warmly welcomed and after their summer tour in Greece in 2023 and numerous of gigs in Austria, the band released their second EP in March 2024, "We found the Earth - Part II", before they unravel a heavier sound. This second EP concludes together with the first one to a conceptive album, which’s thematic is the psychopathy of our society as an expression of a need for destruction, regarding one’s egoistic aims and fulfilments as the ultimate purpose, parted from the societal evolution and the significance of communities in self-determination, collectiveness, and expansion. It’s a reflection and a critic! The band has shown up in the Viennese scene at the beginning of 2021, with various gigs at Escape Metalcorner, Arena Wien, Arena Beisl, locals around the Gürtel and autonomic spaces like Althangrund für Alle, Venster99 and Lobau and have played among international bands like Heavenphetamine (JPN), Eyes Set to Kill (US) and Mother of Millions (GR) among others.
